  • Two of the lake area teams picked up a win on Friday night. The Osage Indians, despite a power outage in the middle of the game, defeated Southern Boone on the road for their first win of the season with a final score of 45-20. The Camdenton Lakers mounted a comeback against the Lebanon Yellowjackets for a 20-17 win, and will hold on to the Highway 5 traveling trophy. The Eldon Mustangs, after scoring 40+ points in their last two games, were handed their second loss of the season by Tri-County rival California, as the Pintos pitched a 38-0 shutout. Versailles continues to look for their first win of the season after a 40-16 loss to Warsaw.
