  • Lake Regional Clinic – Macks Creek recently welcomed Deborah King, FNP. She joined James Jungles, D.O., in August and is accepting patients of all ages.
“We are pleased to welcome Deborah to Lake Regional,” said Peter Rao, executive director of Lake Regional Medical Group. “Having an additional provider will allow us to increase access to care in Macks Creek and surrounding communities.”
King, who is originally from Cross Timbers, Mo., earned a master’s of nursing degree from Cox College in May 2013.
Previously, she worked as a registered nurse at CoxHealth System in Springfield, Mo.
King says her passion for educating patients about disease prevention led her to become a nurse practitioner.
“As a nurse, I saw patients in advanced stages of chronic diseases that could have been prevented,” King said. “Those patients could have taken steps in their 30s, 40s and 50s that would have made them healthier in later years. I want to make sure my patients receive the education they need to prevent disease and live their life to the fullest.”
Lake Regional Clinic – Macks Creek is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
To schedule an appointment with King or Dr. Jungels, call the clinic at 573-363-5304. To view their bios, visit lakeregional.com/physicians.
