  • The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the mid-Missouri area for the two-week period of September 9 – September 20, 2013. Weather conditions may cause postponements in the work schedule. Other construction or maintenance work may occur on other roadways throughout the area.

  • The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the mid-Missouri area for the two-week period of September 9 – September 20, 2013. Weather conditions may cause postponements in the work schedule. Other construction or maintenance work may occur on other roadways throughout the area.
    Camden County
    Daylight/Overnight Hours
    * Route 5 bridge over the Lake of the Ozarks at Hurricane Deck - Bridge replacement is nearing completion. The contractor will continue laying asphalt on the new bridge alignment, which includes wedging on the existing roadway to tie in the new alignment with the existing roadway, during the week of September 9.  
    Daylight Hours
    * Route 54 between Old Route 5 and the Niangua Bridge - Roadway resurfacing, widening of shoulders and installation of rumble strips is under way. A seal coat will be placed on the shoulders between Camdenton and Route D the week of September 9.  One lane will be open through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in the fall.
    Morgan County
    Daylight Hours
    * Route 50 at the Lamine River Bridge west of Syracuse and
    Route 50 at the Union Pacific Railroad Bridge west of Syracuse – Bridge deck replacement is nearing completion. Bridge girders will be painted and new guardrail will be installed at the Lamine River bridge the week of September 9. One lane will be open while the work is done in this area. Work on the railroad bridge is complete.
    The entire project is scheduled for completion in the fall.
    * Route K between Route E and the end of state maintenance – Roadway maintenance will take place on Monday, September 9. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
    * Route AA between Route 52 and Route C – Roadway maintenance will take place on Monday, September 9. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
    Morgan and Camden Counties
