  • Ozark Bar-B-Que is set to raise money and peanut butter for the Church at Osage Hills Buddy Pack ministry at the Lake of the Ozarks by offering free onion rings to all who donate to feed hungry children between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Sept. 28.
Inspired by a similar program last month held at Andy’s Custard at the lake, Ozark Bar-B-Que will be offering free onion rings to those who bring a jar of peanut butter or a cash donation to the lakeside restaurant at the 10.5-mile marker of the Main Channel.
The Church at Osage Hills is a Buddy Bank for the Central Missouri Food Bank. Buddy Pack ministers provide and pack buddy packs to be inserted in hungry children’s backpacks by school volunteers. These packs provide needed food for those children over the weekends during the school year. Without this assistance, these children will go hungry over the weekends.
Located at 608 Wings Circle in Sunrise Beach, Ozark Bar-B-Que is easy to find off of Route TT or MM by following the billboards or GPS.
Boaters can participate as well, as there is plenty of dockside parking. As always, take care when docking as we expect a large turnout and the lake may be choppy with rolling docks.
Directions can be found at www.ozarkbar-b-que.com.
