  • Recipe of the Week: After School Baked Apples

    2 large apples, Jonathon or Macintosh
    2 tablespoons water
    2 tablespoons brown sugar
    1/4 cup grape jelly or strawberry jam
    Core and cut the apples into very thin slices. Place apple slices in an 8" square microwave safe baking dish. Sprinkle with water and brown sugar. Dot with jelly or jam. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave on high for 7 to 9 minutes. Check the apples for doneness with a fork. Cool and serve.
