Two lake area teams emerged victorious in Week 2. All four lake area teams had the homefield advantage this week, and the Camdenton Lakers and Eldon Mustangs put it to good use to pick up a win.

Camdenton's second win of the season came as the Lakers hosted West Plains, and with a sharp display from the Purple Haze and an emphasis in the passing game, the Camdenton Lakers sent the Zizzers back home with a 35-15 win, thanks in part to a nice punt return for a touchdown by senior WR Ryan Elliott and three TD passes from QB Bo Dean.

The Eldon Mustangs advance to a 1-1 start on the season after a 41-14 win over the Buffalo Bison, led by QB Wyatt Greenwalt and WR Dalton Lister.

The Osage Indians and Versailles Tigers both hold 0-2 records after Moberly swept past the Indians with a 37-7 score and Versailles couldn't outlast Fulton in a high-scoring match, falling 44-33.
