  • The Lake Ozark Daybreak Rotary Club donated an estimated $50,000 to several lake-area charities and organizations during a special reception last Thursday at Willmore Lodge.

  • The Lake Ozark Daybreak Rotary Club donated an estimated $50,000 to several lake-area charities and organizations during a special reception last Thursday at Willmore Lodge.
    The Rotary Club raised the funds through their two major fundraisers ― Winterfest and the Muscle Car raffle.
    The groups and organizations were honored with food and drink before the presentation of some 29 checks to the different organizations.
    Organizations receiving funds at the reception included:
    Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Citizens Against Domestic Violence, Concerns of Police Survivors, Buddy Pack Program-Osage, Medical Missions for Christ, Hope House, Wonderland Camp, Habitat for Humanity-Miller County, Feed the Children, Osage Project Graduation, Miss Lake of the Ozarks Scholarship, Kids’ Harbor, Lake Area Helping Hands, Project Prom-Eldon, Lake of the Ozarks Development Center, Eldon Montessori, Pregnancy Help Center, Camdenton Looking Good Program, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, ARC of the Lake, Forget Me Not Alzheimer’s Association, Lamb House, Dream Factory-Kelly's Clown, Camden County Child Advocacy Council, Osage Beach Elementary, Woman 2 Woman, Great Rivers Council of Boy Scouts of America, Pack the Truck, Share the Harvest Food Pantry and Support the Troops and Lake Area Industries.
