A Vietnam veteran and author will be a special guest at the final Hot Summer Nights of the year this Friday on The Strip in Lake Ozark.
Raul A. Delgado, a retired U.S. Marine who served from 1965 to 1969, will be signing his book, "Ghosts of 1968." He served a tour in Vietnam.
Delgado will also be signing his book at Stonecrest Book and Toy Store in the Stone Crest Mall from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
Hot Summer Nights will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. and will feature a tribute to the military, both veterans and active duty. A caravan in their honor will take place down The Strip about 7:15 p.m.
The evening will open with a Marine Corps League Color Guard. Additional entertainment is pending.
Organizers will be passing out 1,000 miniature American flags to the spectators along the Strip.
