  • Fire damages Osage Beach house

  • The Osage Beach Fire Protection District was called to a residential structure fire about 5:56 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, in the subdivision of Hanks Haven off of Whispering Oaks Rd in Miller County.

  • The Osage Beach Fire Protection District was called to a residential structure fire about 5:56 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, in the subdivision of Hanks Haven off of Whispering Oaks Rd in Miller County. 
    Units arrived on the scene to find heavy fire in the second floor and attic area of the two-story house.  Osage Beach crews were assisted on scene by Lake Ozark Fire, Sunrise Beach Fire and Miller County Ambulance while Mid County Fire sent an engine to Osage Beach House 2 to cover additional calls. 
    A total of 18 firefighters worked to bring the fire under control and were on the scene until the last unit cleared at 9:36 p.m.  The homeowners were not home at the time of the fire.
    Investigation on cause of the fire continued Wednesday morning. Although the structure is still standing, the house appears to be a complete loss.
