Three suspects were taken into custody in Lebanon following an alleged armed robbery in Camden County on Tuesday afternoon.
A lake area resident reported that three suspects, two males and one female, entered her home around 2 p.m. with a firearm and took her cell phone and other items. The incident took place at a residence located on the 100 block of Frontier Circle off of A Road in Linn Creek.
The suspects were seen by the victim leaving her residence in a black passenger car possibly headed toward Highway 54.
Camden County Sheriff's Department immediately began a search for the suspects. According to the Camden County Sheriff Department, the suspect's vehicle was located within 32 minutes of the incident on Missouri Highway 5 South of Camdenton. Camden County investigators followed the vehicle until market units arrived on scene to assist.
All three suspects were found in the Lebanon area almost an hour after the robbery was reported. Deputies from Laclede County and Camden County attempted to stop the vehicle north of the Lebanon city limits.
A pursuit followed the attempt. According to officials, to avoid capture, the vehicle fled from officers and Lebanon Police deployed spike strips which led to deflating the vehicle's tires. The vehicle was then stopped and all three suspects taken into custody.
Camden County Sheriff’s Office, Laclede County Sheriff’s Office, Lebanon Police, Linn Creek Police and the Missouri State Highway Patrol were all involved in the the capture of the suspects.
