Local police are looking for a man wanted on a warrant for 1st Degree Robbery of a bank in St. Charles after he was spotted in a fast food restaurant parking lot in Osage Beach.
According to a press release from the OBPD, officers received information from the St. Charles Police Department around 10:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22 to watch for a gold Mercury Sable with Missouri temporary tags. The occupants of the vehicle, a white female and white male, were suspects in a robbery that had taken place at a bank in St. Charles.
At 10:34 a.m. Friday, Aug. 23, Osage Beach officers witnessed what they believed to be the vehicle being driven into the Wendy's parking lot. The occupants matched the suspects' description from St. Charles police.
The suspect male driver exited the vehicle. The female suspect - later identified as Tara Grippe, 24, of St. Louis, Mo. - was still in the vehicle.
Osage Beach officers approached the vehicle and took Grippe into custody. She was arrested on unrelated fraud warrants out of St. Louis Metro.
The male subject - identified as Matthew K. Holleran, 37 - was unable to be located after exiting the vehicle.
Police advise the public to be on the lookout for Holleran. He is described as standing 5'5" tall and weighing approximately 160 pounds. He has short almost crew cut brown hair and brown eyes and last seen wearing a white v-neck short sleeve t-shirt, dark colored shorts and dark colored tennis shoes.
