Former Village of Four Seasons Trustee

Donald (Don) Bruno Ruppin, age 82, of Four Seasons, Missouri, departed this life on Friday, August 16, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.

Don was born March 3, 1931 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the son of Bruno Theodore and Dorothy Mae (Moyle) Ruppin.

He was united in marriage on November 25, 1954 in Oconto, Wisconsin to Virginia (Jinny) McFarlane who survives.

Don attended Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin were he became a Sigma Fhi Epsilon.

He was called to duty during the Korean Conflict before his senior year in college serving in the U.S. Army. After his discharge from service he enrolled into Wisconsin University where he received his Bachelors degree.

Don was a District Sales Manager for the Thilmany Pulp and Paper Company. He was a Charter member and past president at Christ The King Lutheran Church in Lake Ozark, Missouri. Don was also a member of Lake Ozark Rotary Club where he served as Past President, and a Trustee for the Village of Four Seasons for fourteen years. He loved traveling, boating, golfing, and playing on his computer. More than anything, he loved his family and enjoyed spending his time with them.

In addition to his wife, Jinny, Don is survived by two daughters, Nancy A. Bluhm and husband Gene, of Nixa, Missouri, Peggy A. Lane and husband Edward, of Kansas City, Missouri; one sister, Carole A. Anderson, of Richfield, Wisconsin; two grandchildren, Randy R. Bluhm and wife Andrea, of Kansas City, Missouri, and Laura V. Rhode and husband Abraham, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; along with several other relatives and friends.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, Bruno and Dorothy Ruppin and one sister, Barbara Olson.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Christ The King Lutheran Church in Lake Ozark, Missouri. The family will receive friends for visitation from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the church.

Graveside services and burial will be Thursday August 22, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Arlington Park Cemetery in Greenfield, Wisconsin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the Organ Fund at Christ The King Lutheran Church.
