Dock owners and boaters need to pay heed to the recent water conditions on Lake of the Ozarks.
Dock owners should cut power to docks if electrical conduit and other components are submerged. The 660 lake elevation has water at, near or over the top of seawalls.
Boaters should be extremely cautious and try to avoid traveling long distances up tributaries where debris can be heavily concentrated. Night time travel is not recommended at all until the debris subsides.
Wave action can cause damage to yards, landscaping and private shoreline improvements. Boaters should be courteous to lake front properties by minimizing their wake. Idle speed is recommended in residential areas and coves.
