Charles Maurice Osborn, a resident of Roach, died on July 13 at the age of 84. He was born on May 25, 1929 in Kansas City, Mo. He served in the Navy from 1946-1948. He retired from Nissan in 1991. He was a proud member of Lake Valley Golf Course.
He is survived by five daughters; Brenda Thompson of Kansas City, Kan.; Vickie Evans of Tampa, Fla.; Diana Henderson of Raytown, Mo.; Esther Wilson of Bonney Lake, Wash.; Ellen Long of Flower Mound, Texas; seven grandchildren; Dawn Miller, Charise Tyner, Angela McCray, Samantha Long, Sarah Long, Melanie Long, Vincent Long and Andrew Wilson; nine great-grandchildren; Nicole Smith, Jasmine Walton, Jeremiah Pryor, Jocelyn McCray, Leron McCray, Jr., Josi Tyner, Emily Tyner, Juliet Tyner and Annabelle Wilson; two great-great-grandchildren; Brayden Miller and Peyton Smith.
He is predeceased by his wife, Martha Osborn (March 2011) and his parents, Alfred and Olah Osborn.
A memorial will be held at Lake Valley Golf Course in Camdenton on Aug. 11 at 11 a.m. followed by a small luncheon at 11:30 a.m.
