  • The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the mid-Missouri area for the two-week period of August 5 – August 16, 2013. Weather conditions may cause postponements in the work schedule. Other construction or maintenance work may occur on other roadways throughout the area. Many projects will include lane closures, and delays can be expected.

  • The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the mid-Missouri area for the two-week period of August 5 – August 16, 2013. Weather conditions may cause postponements in the work schedule. Other construction or maintenance work may occur on other roadways throughout the area. Many projects will include lane closures, and delays can be expected.
     
    Camden County
    Daylight/Overnight Hours
    * Route 5 bridges over the Lake of the Ozarks at Hurricane Deck - Bridge replacement continues. Much of the work currently taking place will not affect traffic. However, traffic could be stopped briefly to allow equipment to be moved. The entire project is scheduled for completion in winter 2014.
     
    * Route 7 between Route H and Route A - Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, August 5 through Thursday, August 15. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
     
    * Route 54 between Old Route 5 and the Niangua Bridge - Roadway resurfacing, widening of shoulders and installation of rumble strips will begin the week of August 5. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in the fall.
     
    * Route A between Elm Grace Church Road and Fairview Lane - Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, August 5 through Thursday, August 15. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
     
    Miller County
    Daylight Hours
    * Route 42 between Hawkins Cemetery Road and Mill Creek Road – Cross pipe extension replacement will take place on Thursday, August 15. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
     
    * Route E between Whalen Creek Road and Hoecker Road – Roadway maintenance will take place on Monday, August 5. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
     
    * Route BB between Route 133 and Route 42 – Roadway maintenance will take place Tuesday, August 6 through Thursday, August 8. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
     
    Morgan County
    Daylight Hours
    * Route 50 at the Lamine River Bridge west of Syracuse and
    Route 50 at the Union Pacific Railroad Bridge west of Syracuse – Bridge deck replacement continues. Traffic over the Lamine River Bridge is controlled by temporary traffic signals and a temporary concrete barrier has been placed along the bridge between the work location and the active lane. The railroad bridge is closed to complete the overlay work in the eastbound lanes. Periodic lane closures can be expected through the work area. The entire project is scheduled for completion in the fall.

    * Route E between Route C and Route CC - Roadway maintenance will take place on Monday, August 12. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
     
    * Route T between Route 52 and the end of state maintenance Roadway maintenance will take place on Monday, August 5 and Tuesday, August 6. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
