  • A popular Lake of the Ozarks establishment is putting on a benefit to help of its own.
One of Shady Gators’ long term prized servers, Joe Kendagor, was seriously injured in an automobile accident while returning to St. Louis from the Lake of the Ozarks. He is going to have a large amount of medical bills so the owners, Gary Prewitt, Jeremy Gorham and Tim Jones and the management and staff of Shady Gators want to help him out.
Shady Gators is having a fundraiser for Joe on Sunday, August 4 at 5 p.m. There will be a silent auction, a photo booth, a 50/50 drawing and more. DJ Steve Meier will be at Lazy Gators by day, live music at Shady's at 5:30 p.m., and DJ Steve Meier again to follow. Joe has been with Shady Gators for six years and has made many friends along the way.
“He is also always one to help others and now he finds himself in a state of need” said Gorham, co-owner of Shady Gators. Shady's also needs items donated for the Silent Auction, so if you would like to help out there, email jg@shadygators.com .
