  • Four Camden County residents are behind bars after law enforcement charged them with drug-related crimes.
    On July 23, Camden County Sheriff’s Deputies and Agents with Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group executed a search warrant in the 100 block of Tenney Road in Roach.
    As a result of the search, more than 200 marijuana plants, 2.5 pounds of processed marijuana grow equipment and drug paraphernalia was seized.
    Three individuals were arrested and charged.
    Robert Haas, 60, Karen Haas, 55, and Justin Haas, 31, all of Roach, were taken into custody.
    All three have been charged with two counts of Class B Felony of distribute/deliver/manufacture of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $10,000 cash on each individual.
    Karen Haas was released after posting a cash bond; Justin and Robert Haas are currently in custody at the Camden County Adult Detention Facility.
    On July 24, Camden County Deputies and LANEG officers executed a search warrant in the 100 block of Fox Ridge Road in Montreal.
    After retrieving a search warrant and searching a home, one gram of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia was seized.
    Sheila Patterson Bacon, 47, of Osage Beach, was arrested and charged with a Class C Felony of possession of a controlled substance. Bacon's bond was set at $5,000 cash and $15,000 surety. Bacon is currently being held in the Camden County Adult Detention Facility.
