Slumbrew Happy Sol has been one of my personal favorites since the first time I’ve tried it.
This wheat beerslumbrews is brewed with blood oranges. I love fruit beers, as long as they’re brewed with real fruit – it gives the beer real flavors, rather than this overly sweet, fake flavor you get from using flavor additives.
The Happy Sol is the perfect summer beer. It’s light, but full of flavor. The blood orange flavor is thirst quenching, but it goes down so easy, you’ll notice you’re bomber is gone in about five minutes. I’ve taken to buying two bombers at a time, filling um my Samuel Adams liter mug and enjoying it that way.
At 5.5 percent alcohol by volume, it won’t knock you on your butt. For me, it’s one of my top 10 go to summer beers.
