On Thursday, Aug. 1, Lake Regional Urgent Care – Eldon will open inside the Lake Regional’s primary care clinic at 304 E. Fourth St. in Eldon.
The walk-in clinic will be open daily to treat minor injuries and illneses. Hours will be 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays.
Christine Livek, M.D.; Becky Kimbell-Farris, FNP-BC; and Julie Russell, FNP, will provide care at the clinic.
“We are pleased to be expanding access to care for patients in the Eldon community,” said Peter Rao, executive director of Lake Regional Medical Group. “The new Urgent Care location will expand access to care and provide a convenient option for patients after hours and on weekends, as well as individuals who are visiting the area.”
Lake Regional Urgent Care - Eldon will host the Eldon Area Chamber of Commerce’s First Friday Coffee scheduled 7:15 – 8:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 2. An open house for the community also will be held 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 3. Refreshments will be served, and the first 100 participants will receive a free digital thermometer.
