  • Priscilla Lynne Lofland went from her home in Laurie to be with our Lord, Jesus, on July 19, 2013.  She was born in St. Charles, Missouri, a daughter of William and Dorothy Taylor.
Priscilla’s early years were spent in Liberty, Missouri, where she graduated from Liberty High School in 1967.  She was a member of Claycomo Baptist Church in Kansas City and was married there to James R. Lofland on September 2, 1967.  After she moved to the lake area in 1991, she attended Crossroad Church in Sunrise Beach.
Priscilla worked at Laurie Knolls Care Center for 6 years and then at Laurie Healthmart as a pharmacy technician for 13 years.  She was a compassionate and caring person and was devoted to her family.  She will be sadly missed, but we will celebrate her new life of joy and peace with our Lord.
She is survived by her husband, James R. Lofland; her sons, James and wife Kim, Christopher, Joseph and Nathaniel.  She also leaves her daughter, Carla Trotter and husband Jasen and sisters, Debbie Doyle and Robin Galle.  Surviving grandchildren include Jacob, Randy, Amber, Joseph and Harrison and Henry and Jonathan Lofland and Ericka, Brianna, Steven and Michael Trotter.  Great-grandchildren include Mason, Brooklyn, Ellie, Lyla and Gage.
A celebration of Priscilla’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 28th, at Crossroad Church in Sunrise Beach with Pastor Tony Corado officiating.  Expressions of sympathy may be left online at www.kidwellgarber.com.  Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Kidwell-Garber Laurie/Sunrise Beach Chapel.
