Contractors for the Missouri Department of Transportation will begin work to improve two roadways in Camden and Morgan counties beginning Monday, July 29. Crews will resurface Route 5 between Route 52 in Versailles and the Niangua Bridge near Camdenton and add four-foot shoulders to the roadway. Resurfacing and four-foot shoulders are also planned for Route 54 in Camden County from Old Route 5 to the Niangua Bridge.
Motorists should expect lane closures and minor delays through the duration of the work, which is scheduled for completion in the fall.
