The Lake of the Ozarks Watershed Alliance, LOWA, is set to host a rain garden workshop 1 to 4 p.m., Saturday, July 20 at the Lodge of Four Seasons Escollo Room in Lake Ozark.
Workshop topics will include:
• Where to place a rain garden and how big it should be with LOWA Project Manager Caroline Toole.
• Where hardy native perennials will work with Carol Davit from the Missouri Prairie Foundation.
• Attendees will then design their own rain garden and have an opportunity to ask questions.
Attendees are encouraged to bring photos of their yard and information about the size of their roof, yard, and other features. LOWA will supply paper, pencils, reference materials, refreshments and knowledgeable folks.
