  • Missouri Symphony makes return trip to lake

  • The Missouri Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Maestro Kirk Trevor, will return to the stage of Cummings Auditorium at School of the Osage to present a Pops concert on Sunday, July 7. The orchestra, based in Columbia, consists of musicians from throughout the United States and around the world.The concert will begin at 3 p.m.
    The Pops concert is the premier event for The Lake Arts Council, having sponsored it for over 25 years. The council will be offering the audience cake and Andy's frozen custard, included in the price of admission, prior to the concert. You may enjoy browsing through an exhibit of paintings by Nancy Gray and photographs assembled by the Lake Area Camera Club in the lobby, while waiting for the performance to begin and during intermission.
    Tickets are $20 for the general public, $10 for LAC members and $5 for students (18 years of age and under).
