  • The American people need to wake up about the IRS.  In less than 6 weeks, we have learned that IRS targeted specific conservative and tea party groups. We have been informed that they have been caught using taxpayer money frivolously. We have learned that they released $46 million of refunds to the same address. We hear $46 million but we have to put that into context. The average tax refund is $2,800 to $3,000. So that means that more than one person prepared over 10,000 to 15,000 of fraudulent returns for illegal immigrants.
At no time since Obamacare has been implemented, have we been given the opportunity to see Obamacare die. If the American people would rise up and in one voice tell our senators and representatives to take the implementation of Obamacare from the IRS there is not another agency that could take over to implement it.  It would simply have to go away, or be on the books with no way to enforce.
When we look at the scope of the scandals of IRS, do we really want them to enforce? Should they be allowed to have that much power over the American people, than what they already have? Can we be assured that they will do the job honestly and fairly? Will the costs associated to the implementation of Obamacare be true or will we be paying for wine and romance novels? All we can say now to the above questions is the answer is in the scandals that we are looking at now. No, we cannot be assured that they will act with integrity or fairness.
