  • What is it?
Located on the 3 mile marker, Boathouse Bar and Restaurant offers a convenient location and fun for all ages. The restaurant is a part of Village Marina and has numerous covered boat slips for customers to use; even if that means an overnight visit for those who take advantage of the fully stocked bar.
Inside, the intimately spaced eatery holds eight tables and bar space in addition to several outdoor loungers near the pool, which is open to children and adults alike. The friendly wait staff serves the full menu of food poolside giving families an opportunity to relax and enjoy the view and dining experience while the little ones play.
    On the Menu
The menu options put a unique twist on traditional lake food. Highlights of the lunch and dinner menus include homemade Chicken Rangoon, a Salmon BLT, and the “Juicy Lucy” Burger, in which the guest’s cheese of choice is cooked inside of the hamburger patty. The restaurant also boasts about the incredibly popular “Boathouse Burger,” which comes topped with bacon, cheese and a fried egg.
For dinner, guests have the option to select a heavier fair such as the KC Strip or the Shrimp and Grits entrées.
The bar menu has several specialty drinks in addition to the classic mixed and frozen favorites. Specifically, the Brickhouse cocktail is a house favorite.
It is named after the restaurant owners, the Brick family, and contains all of the same liquors as a Long Island Iced Tea but with mixed a variety of fruit juices for a more tropical flavor.
    Insider Information
The owners of the Boathouse also run the Casablanca Pub and Grille, and the newly opened Casagrotto pizzeria, located on the strip. Casablanca and the Boathouse offer similar menus, but the strip venues create a more adult environment. All three options offer numerous wide screen televisions tuned to the top sporting events of the day.
    What’s Cool About it
Every Saturday night and Sunday afternoon, live musicians play poolside for guests to enjoy free of charge.
Saturday and Sunday morning breakfast is served beginning at 9 a.m. with tasty selections like the sirloin Eggs Benedict or the Sausage Breakfast Tacos.
