The lake level was 658.7; with heavy generation scheduled, the lake should rise to 659.5 through the weekend. Surface temperature at Bagnell Dam was 78 degrees; tributary temperatures are 74 to 79 degrees depending on location and time of day. Truman Lake is 10 feet over pool.

  BLACK BASS – It took 19.96 pounds to win the Wednesday Night Tourney, Big Bass was 6.18 pounds. Lower Osage: Good, try Bullseye jigs tipped with soft plastics like Berkley’s Havoc Craw Fatty or Yum’s Pit Boss around docks and on chunk rock banks. Glaize Arm: Good, try spinnerbaits, Bullseye jigs tipped with soft plastics around docks or rocky points. Mid-Lake: Good, try spinnerbaits or Yum’s soft plastic Money Craw around dock brush; also try crankbaits on points. Niangua Arm: Fair, try Money Craws or shaky heads around docks and crankbaits like Norman’s Deep Little N or Rapala’s DT10 on points and flats. Little Niangua River: No reported fish. Gravois Arm: Good, try jigs tipped with soft plastic critters. Upper Osage: Fair to good, try Zoom Magnum Finesse worms on shaky heads, also try Berkley’s 7- or 10-inch Power Worm around docks. Osage 60 MM: Good to excellent on Rebel’s Pop R in the morning, later try shaky heads tipped with Magnum Finesse worms around docks.

  CATFISH – Bagnell Dam Tailwater: Excellent on cut shad, some fish are very big. Lower Osage: Good on rod and reel baited with cut bait. Glaize Arm: Good, try in the coves with nightcrawlers or chicken livers. Mid-Lake: Good around Tan-Tara Island on cut bait. Niangua Arm: Excellent, try nightcrawlers, cut bait, and chicken livers around docks. Little Niangua River:  Good on traditional baits. Gravois Arm: Good on rod and reel baited with dead minnows or cut shad. Upper Osage: Excellent on rod-and-reel and jugs; try shad sides or frozen herring. Osage 60 MM: Good to excellent on rod-and-reel baited with shad sides, on juglines or trotlines try goldfish or Magic’s doughballs. Truman Tailwater: Good on cut bait. 

  CRAPPIE – Bagnell Dam Tailwater: Fair to good around the campground. Try chartreuse colored curly tail jigs. Lower Osage: Fair, try minnows and blue ice colored jigs around big boat docks. Glaize Arm: Fair, try jigs or minnows fished around deep boat docks. Mid-Lake: Fair, try jigs around brush. Niangua Arm: Fair, try jigs over brush. Little Niangua River: Fair to good in deeper holes. Gravois Arm: Very good, try minnows or blue-and-white jigs around docks. Upper Osage: Very good, the spawn is over, fish are 6 to 8-feet deep. Minnows are best. Osage 60 MM: Very good, the spawn is over, fish are 6 to 8-feet deep. Minnows are best.

  WALLEYE – Bagnell Dam Tailwater: No reported fish. Mid-Lake: Fair to good, try trolling Norman’s Deep Little N or Rapala’s DT10 on flats and points. Also, try vertical jigging Dixie Jet Spoons 14 to 16 feet deep. Upper Osage: Fair to good, crappie anglers are taking the most fish. Osage 60 MM: Fair to good, crappie anglers are taking the most fish. Truman Tailwater: No reported fish.

  WHITE AND HYBRID BASS – Bagnell Dam Tailwater: Excellent for whites and hybrids on white Heddon Torpedoes and Bill Lewis Rat-L-Traps. Lower Osage:  No reported fish. Glaize Arm: Poor, try white jigs in coves, also try Dixie Jet Spoons on flats and points. Mid-Lake: Poor to fair on spoons in open water. Niangua Arm: Try sqaurebill crankbaits and spoons like the Dixie Jet or Bass Pro Shops XPS Tungsten Jigging Spoon on points. Little Niangua River: Poor, the spawn is over. Gravois Arm: No reported fish. Osage 60 MM: No reported fish.

  BLUEGILL – Excellent around docks or submerged brush, try worm pieces, or Berkley Berkley’s Gulp Crickets.

  NOTE: The Lower Osage is from the dam to the 22-mile mark; Mid-Lake is between the 22 and 38-mile marks; the Upper Osage is between the 38 and 55-mile marks; the Osage 60 MM is between the 55-mile mark and the 89-mile mark; and the 89 MM is between the 89 MM and the Rt. 65 Bridge.
