A passenger was seriously injured in a one-car accident early Sunday morning. Cody Taylor, 23, of Lebanon, was a passenger in a 2003 Volkswagen driven by Charles Ferry, 24, also of Lebanon. Ferry struck a barricade at the end of Route F in Camden County, drove off the left side of the road and struck an embankment. The Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report indicated the car came to rest partially submerged in water. Ferry received minor injuries. Both Taylor and Ferry were taken to Lake Regional Hospital by private vehicle. Neither were wearing safety devices at the time of the crash.
