MCKNOTES ON FATHERS DAY

I have written before about my father, so I shall avoid redundancy and just say that I will always miss him. He was a fine man.  To all of you who are fathers, I wish you a happy Father’s Day.  You play such an important part in the lives of your children.  The look up to you and they need you.  Those of us on the sidelines know that your task is no easy one.  It’s a huge responsibility.

Your significance cannot be held to one day on the calendar per year.  It is a lifetime assignment.  I know that all of you cherish your good fortune of being father to your children.
