  • Recipe of the week: Bananas on a stick

    4 firm bananas
    4 flat wooden sticks
    3 ounces instant chocolate pudding mix
    1 cup low-fat milk
    1/2 cup Grape Nuts cereal
    Mix milk and pudding mix in a covered jar or shaker until thick. Peel bananas and slice 1/2 inch off one end. Insert a flat wooden stick into the trimmed end. Pour pudding into a shallow pie pan and pour Grape Nuts into another shallow pie pan. Roll the bananas into the pudding, then into the Grape Nuts. Serve immediately or as a frozen treat.
