  • Christ the King Lutheran Church is hosting a blood drive Friday, June 7, for Community Blood Center of the Ozarks (CBCO). The drive will be open 11 a.m.-5 p.m. The church is located at 1700 Bagnell Dam Blvd. in Lake Ozark.
The CBCO has issued a code yellow alert for all negative blood types. That means there is less than a two day supply of this type on hospital shelves.
CBCO needs your help to meet the growing need for blood in the Ozarks. Eligibility requirements include weighing at least 110 pounds, being in general good health and present required ID.
A single blood donation can save the lives of up to three people. For more information about this blood drive, go to www.cbco.org or call 1-800-280-5337.
