Held on the riverfront in downtown Columbus, Ohio, this nationally know arts festival offers family friendly things to do.
It has been a tradition in the capital city for more than 50 years.
The huge festival is held in the area known as the Scioto Mile, which includes the riverfront and Bicentennial Park. There are plenty of green spaces, fountains, plazas, a permanent stage and more.
The festival has been voted by "Sunshine" magazine and "American Style" as one of the top arts festivals in the nation.
With more than 300 artists you will find something that is your style. There is never a lack of entertainment as three stages offer dance, music, storytelling, poetry and much more.
In addition to the ColumbusArts.com Main Stage at Bicentennial Park, which features some of Columbus’ top musicians, the FlyColumbus.com Community Stage will highlight multiple art forms including dance, theatre and music. The Ohio Magazine
Word is Art Stage is back with spoken word performances, storytelling and a poetry slam on Saturday night.
There are plenty of activities for the kids and great food for the entire family. The Columbus Arts Festival hosts the event and brings in juried artists from all over the United States and a few international artists.
You don't want to miss this event, art, music, poetry, kids "things to do" including a big fountain to stay cool, food, bikeways and walking paths.
It is a favorite summer event for many. In partnership with Dine Originals, this cuisine area will showcase local restaurants and their delicious gourmet fare at the Festival. Dine Originals will feature special menus developed by local restaurants.

Festival Hours: Friday, June 7 and Saturday, June 8 from 11:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Sunday, June 9 from 11:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
