Camden County will close two roads beginning next week for construction.
Alta Road, .8 mile east of Arrowridge Drive will close on Tuesday, May 28 for 60 days to build a culvert at this location. Motorists will be able to use a detour road next to the box culvert to go from one side of the box to the other. There will be detour signs posted at the area. Through traffic will be allowed access to either side of the construction area by way of the detour.
The county will also close Coffey Hollow Road on Wednesday, May 29 for one day to repair a low-water crossing located 2.3 miles from Highway N near Green Ridge Drive. Motorists traveling south on Coffey Hollow Road can take either Green Ridge Drive to Greens Ford Road out to right on Bannister Hollow Road to Highway N or go north on Coffey Hollow Road to Highway W. The road will be reopened at 3:30 p.m. May 29.
