On May 14, Lake Regional Health System presented a Beacon Award to Angelina Hamilton at a reception held at the hospital. The Beacon Award is given annually during National Hospital Week to a Lake Regional employee or employees who embody and represent LRHS customer service standards and the following values: patient-centered care, continuous improvement, teamwork, integrity, exceptional service quality and safety. Beacon Awards recipients are nominated anonymously by their peers.
Angelina Hamilton, from Crocker, is a Lake Regional Medical Group auditor in the Health Information Management department. Hamilton is commended for exceptional job performance, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
“Angelina takes ownership and pride in working with physicians, managers and staff,” said a peer who nominated her. “She is extremely diligent, and her willingness to help others inspires those that work directly with her or are impacted by her leadership. She is a positive change agent that demonstrates knowledge and skills related to compliance/mandates.”
Another nominator said: “Angelina is devoted to helping others and is committed to striving for excellence. She is a true representative of Lake Regional Health System.”
