  •   The lake level was 658.4, with heavy generation scheduled through the weekend the lake should rise to 659.0 by the weekend. Surface temperature at Bagnell Dam was 58 degrees; tributary temperatures are 56 to 60 degrees. Truman Lake is 10 feet over pool and releasing at maximum flow.
      BLACK BASS – It took 17.5 pounds to win the Wednesday Nite Tourney, Big Bass was 6.06 pounds. Lower Osage: Try jigs or spinnerbaits on overcast days, on sunny days try wacky worms or shaky heads for bedding fish. Glaize Arm: Very good, try spinnerbaits, Bullseye jigs, or Berkley Havoc Craw Fatty or Pit Boss behind docks. Mid-Lake: Very good, try spinnerbaits or Yum’s soft plastic Money Craw around docks. Niangua Arm: Very good, Money Craws or wacky worms in spawning areas. Little Niangua River: No reported fish. Gravois Arm: Very good, try jigs tipped with soft plastic critters. Upper Osage: Very good, try spinnerbaits and lizards behind docks. Osage 60 MM: Very good, try lizards, jigs, or spinnerbaits behind docks.
      CATFISH – Bagnell Dam Tailwater: Excellent for big fish on cut bait with fish up to 50-pounds. Lower Osage: Poor to fair on rod and reel baited with cut bait. Glaize Arm: Poor to fair, try in the coves with nightcrawlers or chicken livers. Mid-Lake: Good around Tan-Tara Island on cut bait. Niangua Arm: Poor, try nightcrawlers, cut bait, and chicken livers. Little Niangua River:  Good when the river is murky. Gravois Arm: Fair on rod and reel baited with dead minnows or cut shad. Upper Osage: Good, try fresh cut bait in front of docks. Osage 60 MM: Fair, try rod and reel or juglines baited with cut shad. Truman Tailwater: Good on cut bait for blue catfish. 
      CRAPPIE – Bagnell Dam Tailwater: Very good around the campground, try white or chartreuse colored curly tail jigs. Lower Osage: Fair, try minnows and blue ice colored jigs around big boat docks. Glaize Arm: Fair, try jigs or minnows fished around deep boat docks. Mid-Lake: Fair, try jigs around brush. Niangua Arm: Fair, try jigs over brush. Little Niangua River: Very good on chartreuse and black jigs in clearer water. Gravois Arm: Very good, try minnows or blue-and-white jigs around docks. Upper Osage: Fair, try jigs tipped with plastic and Berkley Crappie Nibbles. Osage 60 MM: Fair, try jigs under a slip bobber.
      WALLEYE – Bagnell Dam Tailwater: Very good drift fishing with black leeches on the bottom. Little Niangua River: Occasional fish caught by anglers fishing for other species. Truman Tailwater: Fair to good on jigs or minnows.
    Page 2 of 2 -   WHITE AND HYBRID BASS – Bagnell Dam Tailwater: Good on 4-inch-long white swimbaits. Lower Osage:  No reported fish. Glaize Arm: Poor, try white jigs in coves and on points with Dixie Jet Spoons. Mid-Lake: Poor to fair on spoons in open water. Niangua Arm: Try sqaurebill crankbaits and spoons like the Dixie Jet or Bass Pro Shops XPS Tungsten Jigging Spoon on points. Little Niangua River: Good for hybrids during mild flow; whites good on Rooster Tails. Gravois Arm: Fair, try open water with vertically jigged spoons. Osage 60 MM: Crappie anglers are catching a few small fish.
      BLUEGILL – Fair to good, try worm pieces, or Berkley Berkley’s Gulp Crickets.
      NOTE: The Lower Osage is from the dam to the 22-mile mark; Mid-Lake is between the 22 and 38-mile marks; the Upper Osage is between the 38 and 55-mile marks; the Osage 60 MM is between the 55-mile mark and the 89-mile mark; and the 89 MM is between the 89 MM and the Rt. 65 Bridge.
