Throughout the week of May 12, Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach will join hospitals across the country in observing National Hospital Week.
As part of this annual observance, staff were treated to an employee BBQ, a strawberry social and other activities. In addition, Angelina Hamilton, from Crocker, will be recognized for exceptional service as the annual Beacon Award recipient Tuesday, May 14.
In advance of Hospital Week, a luncheon was held May 8 in the Crystal Ballroom at Tan-Tar-A Resort to honor staff for years of service.
Ten employees were recognized for 35 years of service at Lake Regional Health System: Leo Buechter, Beverly Bullock, Janny Drover, Vicki Franklin, Susie Graper, Steve Grotewiel, Martin Hampton, Kathy Hoemeyer, Bonnie Massie and Carolyn Oshel.
The following six employees were recognized for 30 years of service: Karen Bischof, Kathleen Bybee, Brenda Childers, Jo Anne Gitchell, Irene Loboda and Joyce McGuire.
In addition, CEO Michael E. Henze acknowledged Denene Kirkpatrick, Maureen Leenerts and Roberta Murray for 25 years of service; five employees for 20 years of service; 27 employees for fifteen years of service; 39 employees for 10 years of service; and 102 employees for 5 years of service.
