Parents, friends and extended family watched as Climax Springs High School graduated 21 Cougars on Saturday.
Ten of those seniors have been accepted to and will attend higher education, while three will attend technical school.
Two seniors have elected to enter the military.
Between the graduates, $120,235 worth of scholarship money has been awarded. Seven students completed the A+ tutoring program.
Some of the seniors entering higher education will go in already ahead of other freshmen. Because of a district-funded dual enrollment program, these seniors earned 87 college credits while still attending high school.
Unlike other area high schools, Climax Springs did not have a valedictorian or salutatorian, but selected Michelle Fitzwater to speak at the commencement ceremony.
Two students graduated with a 4.0 GPA or higher.
