Twenty-two Macks Creek seniors walked across the stage and completed their high school education Sunday afternoon at their commencement ceremony.
Crystal Wright was named the class of 2013 valedictorian and Allisyn Carnahan was named salutatorian. Between the 22 graduates, nearly $43,000 worth of scholarships were awarded.
The commencement address was delivered by history teacher and softball/baseball coach Jason Trusty.
One student, Kyle Burch, has elected to enter the military, though not immediately after graduation.
17 of the 22 graduates completed the A+ tutoring program, while Kierstin Miller completed 366 hours herself.
