Work to improve a section of Highway 42 in Miller County has resumed after being stopped during the winter months.

The project includes widening and paving the shoulders along a 20-mile stretch between Routes 134 and 17 and installing rumble strips. APAC has the contract, and is working on the final five miles of the section.
The project involves a three-foot paved shoulder from near Iberia to Kaiser. APAC started near Iberia last fall and is working toward Osage Beach.
