Friday, May 3rd

Lee Brice in Concert, Red Barn Park, Truman State University

SAB presents Lee Brice for their outdoor spring concert. The concert is free and the rain venue will be Pershing Arena. For more information about tickets and the event contact the Student Activities Board office at 660-785-4722.



Friday, May 3rd

Franklin Street Singers in Concert, Baldwin Auditorium, Truman State University


See the Franklin Street Singers perform in their final concert of the semester. The show tunes start at 7 pm.



Saturday, May 4th

Farmer’s Market, Downtown Kirksville

Kirksville Kiwanis Farmer’s Market is back on! Every Saturday through October from 7 am to noon on the Downtown Square, Farmer’s Market features local vendors selling produce, baked goods, local meats, crafts and much more.

Saturday, May 4th

Hershey Track and Field Games, Stokes Stadium

Kids, ages 5-14, can spend the day competing in track and field games at Stokes Stadium, beginning at 1 pm. Contact the Kirksville Parks and Recreation for more at 660-627-1485.

Cantoria in Concert, Ophelia Parrish Performance Hall, Truman State University

See Cantoria perform in their final concert of the semester. Music starts at 8 pm.

Saturday, May 4th

Round Barn Blues Festival, Historic Round Barn

Celebrate the Round Barn’s 100th birthday at this blues festival featuring Tommy Castro and the Painkillers, Harper and the Midwest Kind, and Hurricane Ruth. Doors open at 3 pm. Get the full scoop on the concerts are roundbarnblues.com

Saturday, May 11th

National Train Day, La Plata Amtrak Station

Come out to the Amtrak Station in La Plata from 9 am to 3 pm and enjoy train themed activities like memorabilia exhibits, artwork, model railroads, train cookie decorating and more! Call 660-956-4157 for more information.
