  • Recently, Lake Regional Home Health was recognized by national surveyor Press Ganey for achieving the top decile in four of five patient satisfaction categories throughout the past 15 months.
These areas include arranging home health services, managing home health, home health nursing and managing personal issues.
The Press Ganey Home Health Care Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems Survey seeks to provide objective, meaningful comparisons between home health agencies by using the same survey nationwide to determine patient satisfaction.
The database includes 470 home health agencies. The survey asks patients to rate their care on various issues, such as how staff listened to the patient’s concerns and gave advice, educated the patient about their care and medicines, and came up with solutions for problems as they arose.
“Lake Regional Home Health offers an opportunity for patients to receive physician-ordered care in their own homes,” said Lisa Mitchell, R.N., BSN, director of Lake Regional Home Health. “Patients are happier and recuperate much faster in their own homes. We are honored our patients speak so highly of us in these surveys.”
Lake Regional Home Health is licensed and certified by Medicare/Medicaid to provide intermittent skilled care to homebound patients in Camden, Miller and parts of Morgan counties.
It also is accredited by The Joint Commission. For more information, or to determine if you or a loved one are a candidate for home health care, call Lake Regional Home Health at 573-302-2860 or visit lakeregional.com/HomeHealth.
