  • Lake view: Terrorists didn’t realize America is resilient

  • I do not subscribe to the belief held by many of my fellow countrymen that America's best days lie behind us.

I do not agree with the false prophets and snake oil salesmen that tell us the "end of days is near."

  • I do not subscribe to the belief held by many of my fellow countrymen that America's best days lie behind us.
I do not agree with the false prophets and snake oil salesmen that tell us the "end of days is near."
I refuse to believe that America can't prosper while at the very same time provide for those of her people who are in desperate need.
I reject the notion that America has experienced its greatest generation and this generation of Americans is any less patriotic, brave or resourceful than the generations which came before.
I will not accept that America is doing the very best it is capable of, and that the future can only be achieved by derisive, bi-partisan politics.
I believe that America deserves its rightful place among nations as an honorable country dedicated to the dignity of all the world's people and the consistent pursuit of peace.
I will forever believe that America's best and brightest have yet to be born.
I will continue to hold out hope that all the religions of the world will one day reconcile the fact that they all pray to the very same god and stop the killings in the name of religion.
It is my wish that someday folks will realize that the constitution was designed as a starting point and was never intended be a stale and stagnant finish line for American rights.
Each time Americans are faced with terrorist atrocities, the world is shown in unmistakable clarity that we refuse to allow them to break the nation's spirit.
If their intent is to strike fear in our hearts clearly they have consistently failed.
Every time terrorists unleash death and destruction on Americans we see the news footage time-after-time of brave folks rushing towards the carnage to help their fellows in trouble.
If the terrorists attack us in order to break our unity, what is clearly shown the world is America's determination and indelible ability to stay united in face of every calamity, every time.
Our first responders are the bravest and best in the world.
Whether it be a terrorist attack or a fertilizer explosion, the bravest of the brave can be found rushing to aide those folks in trouble.
This nation owes a debt of gratitude to all those brave men and women who have given their live's so selflessly in their roles as first responders.
Their ultimate sacrifice in the attempt to keep their fellow countrymen safe is a living, breathing testament to the very best of what it is to be an American.
Page 2 of 2 - What the terrorists will never understand is that there is no country more resilient than is America.
There is no country more united when faced with catastrophe than is America.
There is no country more committed to bringing cowardly terrorists to justice than is America.
America rebounds quickly when our hearts are lifted by news images of our countrymen chanting... USA... USA... as our law enforcement carts terrorists off to our jails.
I say that terrorists will never achieve their goals in America... EVER!
