"Catch Me If You Can"

Frank Abagnale, Jr., aka Frank Williams, was born in Bronxille, NY, on April 27, 1948. He began his life of crime as a shoplifter, but soon graduated to document fraud, check swindling, forgery, and embezzlement. Abagnale lived and traveled all over the US and Europe before getting caught and doing time in three different countries--France, Sweden, and the US. At the age of 26, Abagnale was paroled and began training the FBI on crime prevention.

"Catch Me If You Can," a movie about Abagnale's life, was released in 2002.
