Three lake area teams traveled to Warsaw for the Tri-County Conference golf tournament on Wednesday. Though the sun was out, the teams still had to compete on a waterlogged course, affecting play for all athletes.

Of the eight teams competing, Southern Boone emerged as the victors with an overall score of 324, with four of their athletes finishing in the top ten, led by tournament champ Blake Lammers.

Blair Oaks finished second with a 337, California third with a 348. The Eldon Mustangs finished fourth, with Braden Atkinson finishing with a fourth place finish, shooting an 80 on the day.

Osage's team finished fifth with a 391, while Versailles came in 7th with a score of 416.

On Monday, May 29, the Indians and the Mustangs will travel to Moberly for the Class 3 District District 4 Tournament. Versailles will play in Class 2 District 4 at Redfield in Eugene on Tuesday, April 30.
