MoDOT and the city of Osage Beach have reached an agreement on not only revamping the Key Largo interchange but also possible development of an outer road that would open up Osage Beach Parkway.
It was incorrectly stated in an article recently that MoDOT has pushed for a one-way, eastbound outer road from Y Road to the west end of the Parkway. In fact, a two-way, east-west outer road has always been considered. The outer road would open up the west end of the Parkway to through traffic.
The Osage Beach Board of Aldermen last week asked MoDOT to provide cost estimates and design details of a two-way outer road and include funding in the agency’s 2014 budget.
We apologize for any confusion.
