  • Lake Regional Health System is pleased to announce Chase Daniel, from the Kansas City Chiefs, will serve as honorary chair of the 35th Annual HK’s Hospital Benefit Golf Tournament, scheduled June 7-9 at The Cove Golf Course at The Lodge of Four Seasons.
A former Missouri Tiger quarterback and two-time Heisman trophy candidate, Daniel also has played for the New Orleans Saints and Washington Redskins.
In college, he broke several Missouri offensive records, leading the team to a Cotton Bowl win against Arkansas in 2009.
Off the field, Daniel is involved with charities and started a scholarship for Missouri football players from Texas.
Daniel will help kick off the HK’s activities at the VIP/Celebrity Party, scheduled 6:30 p.m. Friday, June 7, at The Lodge of Four Seasons. This invitation-only party for sponsors who contribute $1,000 or more will include entertainment by the Terry Hancock Band, featuring the White Brothers.
Players, sponsors and guests are invited to attend the Pairing Party and Silent/Live Auction, scheduled
Saturday, June 8, in Campana Hall at The Lodge of Four Seasons. Many items will be up for bid this year, including jewelry, golf packages, weekend getaways, sports memorabilia and more.
The golf tournament will be held Sunday, June 9, at The Cove Golf Course. The Cove, the Lodge’s signature course, was designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones Sr. The 18-hole, par-71 championship course challenges guests with its rolling greens, 65 bunkers and signature hole 4.
The tournament will feature several closest-to-the-hole and hole-in-one prizes, as well as two putting contests. Flights are scheduled in the morning and afternoon.
All proceeds from the 35th Annual HK’s Hospital Benefit Tournament will help Lake Regional Health System expand its Sleep Medicine program. Plans include adding two rooms to the Sleep Lab and purchasing the latest technology for monitoring sleep patterns and equipment for home studies.
Registration is $295 per golfer and includes on-course refreshments, two tickets to Saturday evening’s Pairing Party and Silent/Live Auction and more.
