With regard to the ongoing issue of the lake homeowner suing the bar owner over loud music being played thus disturbing the peace of homeowner(s), I'm left to question just where is Camden County on this issue?
The bar-owner is clearly in violation of the county's zoning ordinance. Why has the county not enforced it's own law? Why has this matter languished for so long without county residents being protected from this type of obnoxious activity?
What has kept and apparently is still keeping the county from doing its job to enforce the law? Many lake residents hail from places where this kind of activity is commonplace and would expect more from the lake area.
I'm very disappointed to learn that the county is forcing this homeowner to bring a civil law suit to enforce a law that the county can't/won't enforce. Why do we elect officials like these?
