The Lake West Christian Academy 8th Annual Golf Benefit is scheduled at noon on Sunday, May 5 at the Rolling Hills Country Club in Versailles. Businesses, churches and organizations are invited to enter a team or sponsor a hole.
The game will be played in the four person scramble format with a $10,000 hole in one prize. There will be several fun contests for prizes including the best par 3 poker hand winning a flat screen television, the longest drive, the closest to the pin and the longest putt prize.
New this year is the LWCA Golf Benefit Business Challenge where businesses are challenged to prove they are "number one" by winning the first place trophy in their category. Challenge categories include; insurance, construction, restaurants, real estate, resorts, banks, media, churches and organizations.
Hole sponsors will receive their name or business logo at a golf hole, an ad in the LWCA Eagle yearbook and they will be placed in rotation in the LWCA business of the week display at the academy and printed in the newspaper.
Sponsor levels include platinum for $500, gold for $350, silver $250 and bronze $150. All sponsorships are tax deductible.
Registration begins at noon with the shotgun start at 1 p.m. The cost to enter a team is $200 for a team of four. The fee covers 18 holes of golf, a cart, a myriad of exciting prizes and dinner. For more information, call the academy in Sunrise Beach at 573-374-1500.
