Earl Winston Burns, age 68, of Climax Springs, Missouri, departed this life on Monday, April 8, 2013 at his residence in Climax Springs.
Earl was born March 11, 1945, in Climax Springs, Missouri, the son of John Leonard and Velma Victoria (Roger) Burns.
Earl served his country proudly in the United States Army, serving time in Vietnam.
Earl loved to fish, hunt and play practical jokes. He especially enjoyed family reunions.
Earl is survived by one son, Marty Burns of Linn Creek, Missouri; one daughter, Lisa Burns of Roach, Missouri; nine grandchildren; one brother, Eldon Burns, of Roach, Missouri; two sisters, Bernice Hood of Camdenton, Missouri and Carolen Hoober of Belton, Missouri; along with several other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; eight brothers; and one sister.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 20, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Living Word Church in Climax Springs, Missouri, with Reverend Floyd Dake officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the church.
Interment will be in Climax Springs Cemetery.
