Worked for Ford for 40 years

Billy Aaron Seaton, age 73, of Independence, Missouri, formerly of Macks Creek, departed this life Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Center Point Hospital in Independence, Missouri.

Billy was born October 25, 1939 in Macks Creek, Missouri, the son of Hoyt and Lavona “Jewell” (Nations) Seaton.

Billy worked for Ford Motor Company for 40 years, working on the assembly line. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and bird hunting. More than anything, Billy loved and adored his granddaughters Shelby and Mackenzie.

Billy is survived by his daughter, Julie Harris and husband, Jacob, of Kansas City, Missouri; his brother Bobby Seaton of Independence, Missouri; one sister Laureita Hicks and husband, George, of Independence, Missouri; two grandchildren, Shelby and Mackenzie; along with several other relatives and friends.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents Hoyt and Jewell Seaton.

The first of two visitations will be held Friday, April 12, 2013, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Park Lawn Funeral Home, Kansas City, Missouri.

Additional visitation will be Saturday, April 13, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Macks Creek, Missouri. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 p.m. followed by burial at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Reverend Glen Eidson will be officiating.
