Share the Harvest Food Pantry received a grant from the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service for a high tunnel garden. Signing the paperwork for the high tunnel is Daniel Silberberg, District Conservationist and Judy Wimmer. The high tunnel garden will put fresh vegetables at the pantry’s doorstep for the families serviced. The high tunnel garden will be constructed on site at the food pantry in Greenview in the next two months. Gifted Gardens at Lake Area Industries volunteered to provide the plants and Colt's Tree Service is providing mulch. Sheila Morse, who has experience with high tunnel gardening will provide the expertise, along with her helpers they will also provide the muscle.
